Water Rescue Awareness Class
Water Rescue Awareness/Operations Level: This 8 hour certificate course will consist of 2 hours classroom and 6 hours of on the water training. Demonstrations of various rescue techniques, equipment and rescue scenerios are included. Cold Water Rescue Instructor Rob Sanders will run students through a variety of real life scenerios. Topics covered are basic water safety, use of PPE, mechanism of injury, assesment, rescue techniques, pre-hospital treatment and more. This class will be offered again in late summer early fall.
