5/22/2012 - PLANE CRASH |
A small plane Cessna 182 attempting a landing at Chatham airport ended up in Lovers Lake off Lake Shore Drive around 2:42PM Saturday. The 25 year old male pilot and 57year old passenger instructor were able to make it to shore and were treated by Chatham Fire and Rescue personnel at the scene for minor injuries. Lieutenant Michael Anderson, Chatham Police said the FAA and Mass. Aeronautics is on the way to the crash scene to determine the cause of the crash. Photo by Jake O'Callaghan
