7/18/2012 - MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT |
A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday around 10am when he collided with a Toyota Corolla at the entrance to the Harwich Transfer Station on Queen Anne Road. Harwich Fire and Rescue medics work on the victim who was thrown over 60ft from his cycle. The male on the motorcycle was Med-flighted to a Boston Hospital with critical injuries and later died from those injuries. The driver of the Toyota was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Harwich Officer Neil Nolan examines the wreckage. Harwich police closed Queen Anne Road for approximately one hour while they investigate the cause of the crash.
